the pink and orange hue of a Caribbean sunset, to
daytime cotton-blue, the freshness of crisp white,
all our colors are for you and we hope you enjoy
them as much as we do!

Flowers are blooming this spring in a myriad of
patterns and prints, embrace them. Dresses are also
very significant and extremely versatile, we have
your causal shirt dress, your day-garden dress,
the evening cocktail frock, and the ever-so-pretty
party wear!

Vivacious color combinations,
flirtatious flair, unique sense of style... whatever
it may be, Sara Campbell is eager to create designs
that allow her customers to feel special every day.
Sara Campbell LTD embodies the
personal grace and spirit of its founder and creative
director, Sara Campbell. A fashion designer, artist,
and entrepreneur Sara is the constant force of energy
behind all creations and ideas that come out of
her Boston studio.
A Massachusetts resident with
California roots, Sara earned her degree in design
from the University of California, Davis. She later
moved to Boston for graduate school at Lesley College
for a Masters in Art Education. It was in Boston
where she met and was soon mentored by the late
Corita Kent, an artist and educator whom she set
up a private tutorial with, at Mass College of Art.
Sara began her career in 1982
as a featured artist in a wearable art gallery and
museum shows. This lead to the birth of a women
artist mail order catalog, where Corita was an initiator,
contributor, and partner on the project. Sara's
one-of-a-kind garments became a numbered, limited
edition series.
Today, Sara creates, designs,
and produces the line, Sara Campbell. The
line represents a timeless and classic design element
with contemporary fashion sensibilities, creating
lifestyle collections of dresses, formal suiting,
and sportswear for women with an ageless attitude
and tireless spirit.
A fashion designer, entrepreneurial
business owner, wife, and mother of two teen daughters,
she is the constant supporter and advocate of working
for the common good. It is this spirit that
is at the heart of events held at the retail store
of Sara Campbell. It is the core mission of
the company to give back to the community.

Fashion
is a business, fueled by creativity, driven
by a spirit of unique originality and defined
by detail. Less about trends, more about
personal style. Sara Campbell LTD provides original
designs for the style-conscious woman who might
be aware of the trends but does not necessarily
rely on them to feel good about what she wears.
Sara Campbell LTD was incorporated in 1985.
A few years later, Sara was joined by
Peter Wheeler, a veteran in the
industry. Their relationship as friends and
business partners has been at the heart of the
daily successes at Sara Campbell LTD.
Unique
trimmings and novelty buttons top off Sara Campbell
LTD's distinctive creations. Using fabrics of
exclusive weave and textures along with incredible
trims and buttons, our goal is a genuine feeling
of integrity in all our garments.
Our signature collection, Sara Campbell,
features dresses, suits, and sportswear with
clean lines, extraordinary fabrics and a twist
of the unique with feminine individuality. Blending
timeless and classic design elements with contemporary
fashion sensibilities, we create style in the
everyday wardrobe.
We like
to think of ourselves as a business with a soul.
We feel a deep responsibility to carry a spirit
of gratitude, and in carrying that spirit, give
back to those in need.
To date, our proudest
accomplishment is when we completed our goal
to build an indoor art room/play center for
children at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
in Memphis. We are profoundly grateful to all
of our customers who without their daily support,
this effort, along with many others would not
be possible.

Host a private shopping party at Sara Campbell;
invite friends and/or co-workers to shop in
a fun atmosphere.
Private shopping parties are offered in the
evenings after regular store hours. We will
even make a reservation at one of the many great
restaurants in town for you to grab dinner and
continue your party!

In
2002 we opened our first store, Sara Campbell,
using a great loft space below our corporate
offices in the trendy neighborhood of Boston’s
South End.
At Sara Campbell, we believe in always feeling
pretty. We want you to flaunt your femininity.
We love to celebrate all of life's pleasures
- no matter how big or small. In addition to
our two lines, visitors will find all kinds
of surprises including special treats from our
sample shop.
Our store is a place where we encourage your
feedback. It is our constant goal to learn and
understand our customer's needs. We acknowledge
that every person is different, and it is our
focus to stay connected to the pulse of our
customers (you!). We try to make ourselves available
while you have a delicious shopping experience
in our boutique; we want to hear and welcome
all feedback.
We believe that
one has to create and define one's own style
by mixing pieces. We are here to add the support
and courage to take a chance. Through
this interaction with our retail customers,
we are able to unleash new directions and ideas,
reflected in future collections.

to feel good and oh yes, pretty!
